![]() ![]() Seeing Parels makes me think they should be called Pearls. Paradimes sounds very cute! And awesome that someone is joining the team soon :) ![]() Paradomes would have been better since it sound like paradoks.and that can refers to money.hehe. I find Paradimes is much alike Paradigm which does not refere to payment. I can't think of many games that have currencies that translate to real life, and I for one will be measuring my houses in bananas, thank you. As for it messing with peoples perception of the currency, I really don't think that matters. I like Paradimes, only voted for Paros because it will be easier to say in videos and streams =) ![]() I do like paros the best, but when the people are shortened to paras, it becomes too close and confusing I think Even though I’m from Russia I’m okay with paradimes as it sounds cool. Not everybody is American or English speaking so no dimes for me. :D It would be nice to have a more ‘international language’. so wouldnt it make sense to make it something like parels? Why everyone choosing paradimes, i feel like thats too. I would personally be a fan of something like "paracoins" or "paracreds" Paradimes- This wouldn't make sense to non-English or non American natives as to why it would be called this, but I am a fan of it's relation to money. It's going to get really confusing when people say paras all the time because it sounds so close. Reminds me of parcels?Ĭoins- Way too basic and could be confused with a lot of different apps & games. Unlike caps, coins, credits, simoleons, etc. Parels - It doesn't sound like currency, which is a bit weird to me still. My take on each as I really don't like any of them: Someone mentioned paracoins and I like that too! So there are my 2 cents worth (plus a few more ) He wanted to know why we (adults) didn’t think of it ourselves*rolls eyes and laughs* Personally ….sounds yummy to me!! Paraleens – My youngest’ gamers suggestion and spelling (he is 7). PCoins – Para + Coin, at least would make the term “coin” less basic and more game connected, though I find it kind of bland myself :P Paraloons – Everyone knows the Doubloon which would make the connection fairly universal to players, but distinctive to ParaLives. They know about ParaLives and are highly supportive, so when this poll popped up everyone gave me their 2 cents worth and some ideas to pass on: So anyway, everyone in my family is a gamer. Sometimes the small changes make big impacts. But a suggestion, change up the spelling maybe Paradymes, ParaDymes, ParaDyme. Paradimes – This is closer to what I was personally thinking of. Paros – I think this is way too close to our shortened use of the term “Para” for it to be used as a currency type. ![]() Also universally used in many other apps and games. Parels - It doesn't really sound like a type of currency to me.Ĭoins – This is way too basic. They're all good names, but Paradimes is just so Americanised At least Europa Universalis IV used that as the unit of currency. Or just use "Florin", an early international currency. Might be awkward, though, if there is gonna be a multi-player in far future (if ever). since we can choose what units of measurement to use in game, why not let us choose the name of currency in-game as well? don't you think there'll be too many words with para- ? It doesn't sound good for me, my vote is for simple Coins Hi ! What about the french translation ? Quebec couldn't allow english words everywhere in this game lol ! Thanks for the great work ! And happy new year :) Suggestion : Para = Para / Parafolk = Parasonnes / Paradimes = Paratimes Paracoins sounds a lot more universal-more people from around the globe might be able to relate. I do not think every country uses the "dime" system. I know this is late but I think the name of the currency should be more universal. Paradimes makes me think of paradigm shifts and it makes my nerdy little heart so happy! Funny how parels means pearls in my language ![]()
